It is about time

This installation, presented through a performative reading and a four-minute podcast, explores time, care, and empathy fatigue in modern healthcare.

Set in a fictional world affected by Chronomania (a condition caused by the time-eating parasite Tempus Devorantis)the project frames emotional exhaustion as a symptom of chronic time scarcity, eroding patience, compassion, and care.

A series of experimental physical tools are designed to observe, measure, and resist the parasite’s effects, inviting visitors to slow down, handle, listen, and reflect.

The work operates as both a diagnosis and a call to action, questioning how time is structured and valued in spaces of care.
